In collaboration with the Ndakaini community and other corporate sponsors, we have planted over 100,000 seedlings of indigenous trees around Ndakaini Dam.
We have partnered with the Kenya Wildlife Services to rehabilitate the salient sector of the Aberdare National Park.
We sought to improve service delivery for the over 500 patients received daily as well as enhance the work environment for over 100 staff at the Accident & Emergency wing.
The Foundation is supporting the renovation of the hospital’s laboratory and construction of toilets which is of immediate benefit to patients and staff.
To further support our students and enhance our interaction with them, a mentorship programme was rolled out for staff to impart leadership skills to them.
Through our staff engagement programmes, the Foundation provides staff with opportunities to give back to the society.

UAP Old Mutual Foundation invested KES 10.9 Million to renovate the Uasin Gishu County Hospital and improve the working environment that serves up to 300 patients who receive treatment at the facility daily. The renovation focussed on remodelling the entire laboratory and maternity building for optimization of the limited spaces. The renovation served to improve the services at the hospital and help in decongesting other county labs. The main areas of the renovation were;
Aligned to the UAP Old Mutual efforts to reduce the burden of critical illness through affordable insurance solutions, UAP Old Mutual Foundation continues to support medical camps in the counties. The Foundation has so far sponsored Medical Camp in Uasin Gishu, Nakuru, Bungoma and Meru Counties.
On Friday, 7th June 2019, UAP Old Mutual Kisii Branch and Kotienditi Primary School community joined Samuel Aduke in planting 1,609 tree seedlings in the school compound amidst heavy rainfall.
UAP Old Mutual Faulu Foundation has signed a partnership agreement with Mama Lucy Kibaki Hospital for provision of a Queue Management System and Patients’ Seats.
