Susan Omanga is an Independent Non-Executive Director of the UAP Holdings Board and the founder/CEO of Exclamation Marketing Ltd. Other Boards where she serves are KETEPA, Longhorn Publishers, UBA and as an Advisory Board of Trustee at Acumen East Africa. She is also the Honorary Consul for Jamaica in the Republic of Kenya.
Sue is a seasoned marketing communications and CSI/CSR specialist who has a proven track record of engaging with a wide range of clients/stakeholders to deliver high impact communication and CSI programs. She has extensive hands-on experience working in multi-discipline teams to support the delivery of clear business objectives both at senior management and Board level in local and multi-national organizations within East Africa.
She is a strong negotiator with the ability to influence key external stakeholders ranging from government, development partners, as well as local organizations. Her expertise and assistance in building productive CSI relationships with external stakeholders, is evidenced by the numerous projects she spearheaded within the East African countries as Chairman of KCB Foundation. At KCB she championed the Group’s first sustainability reporting initiative and numerous CSI partnerships in the areas of health, education, environment and human intervention. In her capacity as CEO of Exclamation Marketing Ltd, she has provided strategic CSI advisory services to a wide range of clients.
A member of the Marketing Society of Kenya (MSK), the Public Relations Society of Kenya (PRSK), APreCom, and the International Advertising Association (IAA), Sue has experience working across countries in East Africa and the Horn of Africa, and has received extensive training in corporate governance.

Mr. Apollo is a seasoned financial executive with over 24 years’ experience in Retail, Micro and SME Banking across East Africa.
His first-hand experience of enabling Kenyans to achieve their dreams continues to be valuable in delivering the foundation pillars.

Jerim has previously worked with different leading multi-national insurance companies and had a stint in the world of academia between 1998 and 2001 as a lecturer at the College of Insurance where he co-authored a book on insurance, “Principles and Practice of Life Insurance Business”.
Before Joining UAP Old Mutual, Jerim spent 4 years with ICEA Lion as Head of Life Business in Uganda where he was tasked with setting up of life & pensions division within ICEA Uganda, a composite insurance company then and rapidly grew the company’s market share culminating in the division mutating into a fully-fledged life insurance company and one of the leading in that market.
He went on and had a short spell at CIC Insurance Group where he was in the role of Managing Director for CIC Life Assurance Company and also sat on the boards of the regional CIC life offices.
Mr. Jerim then joined UAP and between October 2010 and December 2014, he served as the Managing Director of UAP Life where he played a significant role in the demerger of the life business from the then composite insurance company and subsequently drove an aggressive growth agenda at UAP Life, especially in the corporate portfolio.
On earning his stripes, Jerim rose to become the Group as the Group Managing Director, Life Business, in September 2015.
Outside of work, Jerim enjoys reading, bird watching and the occasional round of golf.
