UAP Old Mutual Faulu Foundation has signed a partnership agreement with Mama Lucy Kibaki Hospital for provision of a Queue Management System and Patients’ Seats.

By UAP Old Mutual Foundation

The Agreement signing ceremony which took place at Mama Lucy County Hospital is aimed at improving the care and management of patients visiting the facility. The Queue Management System will create efficiency and improve management of the hospital through better reporting for the facility, which receives upto 1500 patients daily. Patients waiting to receive treatment have to endure long queues while standing. The sponsorship will improve the flow of patients from one station to the other. It also anticipated that the waiting time per patient and working environment for staff will significantly improve.

Nairobi City County Government is currently supporting a construction project which will see the hospital receive new wards. The expansion project will serve to reduce the strain on admission by increasing the ward capacity in a new wing. UAP Old Mutual Foundation Chairman, Chancellor Dr. Peter Wanyaga Muthoka EBS, MBS, said, “We believe the partnership will create value especially with the expansion project the hospital is currently implementing under the sponsorship of the Nairobi City County Government”.
