Nkirote is a lawyer with a passion for corporate governance, standard setting and policy making. She is an advocate of the High Court of Kenya, an active member of the Law Society of Kenya and a fellow of the Institute of Certified Public Secretaries of Kenya where she is an elected member of the Council and is currently serving as the Vice Chairman of the Institute.
Besides practising law, Nkirote has worked in various sectors in Kenya including telecommunications, retirement benefits and insurance in a wide-range of activities involving legal and regulatory risk analysis, legislative drafting, monitoring developments in legal research, setting up legal and governance structures, and legal policy development.

Jerim has previously worked with different leading multi-national insurance companies and had a stint in the world of academia between 1998 and 2001 as a lecturer at the College of Insurance where he co-authored a book on insurance, “Principles and Practice of Life Insurance Business”.
Before Joining UAP Old Mutual, Jerim spent 4 years with ICEA Lion as Head of Life Business in Uganda where he was tasked with setting up of life & pensions division within ICEA Uganda, a composite insurance company then and rapidly grew the company’s market share culminating in the division mutating into a fully-fledged life insurance company and one of the leading in that market.
He went on and had a short spell at CIC Insurance Group where he was in the role of Managing Director for CIC Life Assurance Company and also sat on the boards of the regional CIC life offices.
Mr. Jerim then joined UAP and between October 2010 and December 2014, he served as the Managing Director of UAP Life where he played a significant role in the demerger of the life business from the then composite insurance company and subsequently drove an aggressive growth agenda at UAP Life, especially in the corporate portfolio.
On earning his stripes, Jerim rose to become the Group as the Group Managing Director, Life Business, in September 2015.
Outside of work, Jerim enjoys reading, bird watching and the occasional round of golf.

Prior to joining UAP, Isaac had worked at AON Insurance Brokers for eight years rising to the position of a divisional director, healthcare division.
Isaac Joined UAP Insurance Company Ltd in January 2011 as the Head of Medical business. During his tenure at UAP, he helped turn around the medical business from a history of technical losses to become a profitable business.
He became the General Manager, Medical business and Customer service from September 2013 where he continued to grow the medical business to be among the top 3 leading providers in Kenya in revenues and top 2 in profitability. He developed the customer service strategy for UAP Insurance which has been adopted by the UAP Group and helped set up a call center for the business to support service delivery.
Isaac was appointed as the Group Managing Director- Medical Business from July 2015 where he served until his appointment to his current role of Group Chief Operating Officer in December 2018.

Peter is passionate advocate about demystifying and increasing the understanding about financial markets as a way to securing your financial future through long term investing.
He has previously worked in fund management, private wealth management and stockbroking in the United Kingdom.
In September 2008, Peter joined Old Mutual as a Senior Portfolio Manager and subsequently held the Chief Investment Officer and General Manager positions in Old Mutual Investment Group.

Mr. Njoroge joined Faulu Microfinance Bank limited as the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer in December 2016.
He is an experienced financial executive with over 24 years’ experience in Retail, Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises Banking across East Africa.
Prior to his appointment, he was Acting Managing Director, Equity Bank in Uganda, where he also held the positions of Executive Director and Chief Operations Officer. He has held the following positions at Equity Bank in Kenya; General Manager in charge of Business Relationships and Head of Business Growth & Development. He has also worked in African Banking Corporation Limited and Investments & Mortgages Bank.
Apollo’s achievements during his tenure at Equity, were commendable. They include: Strategy formulation and implementation, which led to the acquisition of a Micro-finance institution in Uganda and its eventual growth into a fully-fledged profitable bank. He is also credited with leading the change process for the roll-out of a new banking software, documentation of procedures and supporting the team to transition to a commercial bank.
Apollo's expertise will be instrumental in executing Faulu’s strategy of championing alternative banking channels, prudent risk management practices and enabling dreams in the region.
