Dear Esteemed Unit Holder,

It is our great pleasure partnering with you in your journey of investment through the Unit Trust Funds.

Following the Annual General Meeting, held on Friday 28th June 2019 in Nairobi, we received your approval to actualise our plan to transfer the Unit Trust Funds from Old Mutual Investment Services Kenya (OMIS) to Old Mutual Investment Group (OMIG).

We have since then also received approval from the Capital Markets Authority (CMA) and a no objection from the Retirement Benefits Authority (RBA) to proceed with this transaction.

OMIS is licensed by the Capital Markets Authority (CMA) to provide Collective Investment Schemes known as the Unit Trust Funds which are the Money Market Fund, Equity Fund, Balanced Fund and Bond Fund. These unit trust portfolios are currently managed by OMIG.

OMIG is also licensed by the Capital Markets Authority (CMA) and the Retirement Benefit Authority (RBA) to provide fund management services, and in addition to managing the unit trust portfolios they also manage pension funds, corporate accounts and private wealth management for individuals.

The transfer of the Unit Trust Funds was informed by a decision to place the management of all client funds under one company (OMIG) as opposed to two companies.

We wish to assure you that there will be no impact to any client nor in the level of services provided to you as a result of this change.
