This an investment channel that allows one to invest in Treasury Bills, government bonds corporate bonds through funds known as; Money Market Fund, Bond Fund, Balanced fund and Equity Fund. As your Fund Manager, we invest on your behalf through pooling funds with other investors to realise the growth in your savings you desire.
There are four types of Unit Trust funds you can choose from and invest in.
These are;

2. Old Mutual Balanced Fund
3. Old Mutual Equity Fund
4. Old Mutual Money Market Fund

You can set up a Unit Trust account as an individual or a jointly with another person/people.

For applications we will require the following attachments; Copy of the ID or Passport, Certified bank statement or ATM card, Copy of PIN certificate. Note that, Corporate Applicants have additional requirements as per the checklist on the form.
You can visit any of our offices and fill in the application forms or request a financial advisor to visit you and guide you through the sign up process.
Yes, you are allowed to make withdrawals at any time.
Single applicants can withdraw their investments by simply writing an email instruction to us indicating their account number and the amount they wish to withdraw or by visiting any of branches.
Joint account holders can also issue email withdrawal instructions if either signatory has the right to instruct a withdrawal. Alternatively the signatories can visit any of our branches and request for a withdrawal.
Corporate clients must submit signed instructions via email or by visiting any of our branches.
How to withdraw
Withdrawal instructions should be sent to clientservices@oldmutualkenya.com. All email withdrawal instructions have to be sent from the email address on record. If you are making the withdrawal to a new account, you'll have to visit any of our offices.
Currently, we have two options where we can deposit your withdrawals.
Note that: 1. We do not allow withdrawals to third party bank account(s)
2. Corporate clients do not qualify for M-Pesa withdrawals
We allow you to make one free monthly withdrawal, while every other withdrawal you make within the same month will attract a Kshs. 800.00 fee.
Yes! It is possible to switch funds and it's a pretty convenient and quick process.
Single applicants can switch funds by simply writing an email instruction indicating their account number and amount to be switched or by visiting any of our branches.
Joint account holders can issue email fund switch instructions if either signatory has the right to instruct a switch of funds. Alternatively, the signatories can visit any of our branches and submit a fund switch instruction.
Corporate clients must submit signed instructions via email or by a visit to any of our branches
Note that: Fund switch instructions are sent to clientservices@oldmutualkenya.com. All instructions have to be sent from the email address on record.

Whether you are a Single, Joint or Corporate Applicant, you will be required to visit any of our offices and sign a bank details change form and provide either a certified bank statement, ATM Card or cancelled cheque as proof of your banking details.
For a change in contact details you will be required to visit any of our offices and fill and sign a change of details form
Note that: For Joint and corporate applicants ALL signatories must sign, to show approval of change
MPESA
To top up your savings, we made it simple via M-Pesa.
Just follow the steps shown below.
1. Go to Lipa na M-Pesa from your M-Pesa menu, then select Pay Bill.
2. Send your investment to Paybill Number 600500.
3. The Fund Account Number will be your Account Number .
